Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

It's been a couple of weeks since raises were announced

How many are still pi---d about the amount they got? I'm still mad about my 1.5% raise and 3% bonus. This is the first time I'm seriously considering leaving. BofA was never great about raises but now it has become insulting. Also, please don't tell me to be grateful since some people didn't get anything. I'll tell you to take that advice and shove it where the sun don't shine.

Same. I got exceeds/exceeds and no raise. I switch positions near the end of the year and was told it was up to old boss for any increase and they decided not to award me for anything. Yet that same manager gave me an exceed/exceed…

I got an EXCEEDS/EXCEEDS and got ZERO raise. So I lost 7.5% this year. I don’t know why the company hates the retail banking sector so much. We generate a lot of revenue.

When you say 3% bonus do you mean 3% of your base salary?

We're at 7.5% inflation, and to me at least it feels more like 15%. I think what makes all this so much worse is our leadership feels its ok to take a 31% pay increase. I also don't feel all the great about America in general. There's mass censorship taking place, people can't talk freely. This country is not what it used to be, its creepy.

I'd say it's ok to still be pi---d. But don't simmer in it for too long. Take that anger and channel it into energy to create your exit strategy. You don't have to do it all in one day. Just small incremental steps on a regular basis will get you out of here and into a better company. At least, this is the advice that I am trying to live by as I manage through the anger myself.
