The company that offers an ICE based pickup will always get my business.
And if they offer it without a wireless modem, even better. Though I can always find it and snip the wiring.

I heard that if you try to tow a 5th wheel trailer with a F-150 Lightning EV you MIGHT have a range of 50 miles before needing to recharge, Sound like a great vacation to me!
My next car is going to be an unrestored1970 Pontiac Catalina with a 455 cu.in. engine.
Old "skool" ignition.
EV or not never buying Ford again
Heard from RV manufacturer that Ford advised they would not be getting a large chunk of the Ford Transits they ordered, as Ford decided to focus on EV vans. They were given a pitch on building EV RVs instead.
In case readers are not aware, RV manufactures of Class B and small Class C have at minimum two year backlog of RV orders — they are that popular. Some manufactures have been building on customer purchased refurbished used vans, because Ford cannot deliver on their promises. They are now considering importing vans, because well Ford isn’t delivering.
Another questionable decision by Ford leadership, I mean really exactly where in the wilderness would a charging station be found? Clearly the idea of an EV RV is sourced from a Glamper not a Camper.
It may be a cool story, brah. But it is a very common cool story. The grocery getters will be glad to buy a Lightning. Those that use trucks like trucks will not.
If Ford guess all electric, they'll no longer exist. Bank it.
Cool story bro.
The market will decide if ICE trucks are viable or if batteries are up to par in the future EVs.
Just like it did with manual transmissions in full size trucks.
