Annual performance review - how did you do?

How did you all do on your annual performance review?
I'm 7th level, been here 2 years, got "above average"

  1. 8% raise + $42k in stock (4 year quarterly vest)

New base: $132k
Total comp target with stock: $190k

I keep seeing posts that the pasture is greener on the other side... so where is the other side for process/dev engineers?

Just want to respond to some questions

"Are they giving grades like “above average “ or “ outstanding “ as they used to before insights ?"

  • I will follow up on this, my manager said I was "above average", I'm guessing there is average, above average, and exceeds, but not sure yet

"This is like a professional football player making market but on the Jet, Lions, Dolphins."

  • I'm a Lions and Rams fan.... OP where shld I go to get paid like the rams?

"Must have kissed a lot of bo--y to get over 2%.
Nice try, HR. Even if true you’re 20-30% less than elsewhere."

  • I did kiss my managers a-s pretty good, always a good strategy. Sent that recognition and everything. Not in HR, but where is elsewhere? My understanding is new raises this year are higher, I'll check with co-workers and follow up. all L5-7 got a 7% raise back in Nov, and it seems average is at least 2.5% if not 3%

"@1ycr+1fgEmWc0 What is the new automatic percent?

I'm not sure if above average = to exceeds expectations - I think there is a level above mine but not certain yet

Good for you, above average raise and got market pay

This is like a professional football player making market but on the Jet, Lions, Dolphins.

Better to be below market on the Chiefs, 49ers, Rams, etc….

I would be unhappy with 3.8%. I am a few points from the new automatic percent....so if I got 3.8 it would mean I only got a .8 % raise

Weird formatting but it says 3.8% raise. The 42k Bonus is pretty unexpected and appreciated
