Job Band Inquiry

Anyone have insight into going from 7T to 7V? I know T is overtime eligible with 10% sti and I know V is not overtime eligible and I THINK they are 12% sti? Also, is 7T to 7V considered a promotion and one could expect a pay boost? Any other insights are appreciated as well.

I made more money in salary and commission when I went from 7t to 7V… he-l I was making more in 9V than I was in 7T (commission).

7V also pays out 12% STI (bonus) instead of 10%

I absolutely would not push for 7v if you are making consistent overtime.

You are also permitted to go from a 7T to a 6V. I am aware of a few people who made that leap. It is all about your skill sets.

You are correct about everything you said. T to V is in band promotion which should get you a 5% raise. From what I’m told if you go into a 7v position with a higher pay range than the 7T position you were in they have to at least bring you to the bottom of the new position’s payscale. So that may be a possibility for you to get more than 5% in that case. Good luck
