Gulfstream recruits talent. HW recruits warm bodies.

Honeywell gives raises and promotions based on two things and they are not performance:

  1. You're a golden child and/or in the good ol' boy network
  2. You work 60+ hours/week on average and give no pushback on backstopping those who are in point 1 above to make them look good

They have found a solution to the problem. The last RIF. They laid off some people who really were awesome Kool-Aid drinkers. They are not bringing them back.

You and know your number one ask kisser. When they get rid of you. Then you call you back and your glad come back.

You ever seen the movie the Stepford wife. My whole division is becoming like this. So you don’t have to pay 4% raise, these people are brainless.

We have a lot of evil sadistic people who work here. They’re very self-centered. When you have a whole bunch of people who act this way. They really think they’re so awesome that this is the reason why they’re getting promoted.

As long as you have a bunch of people that act like this. You won’t have to give raises. Because the majority people are thinking about how successful they are at Honeywell. As they move up through the ranks. Even when they’re not qualified for the job that they’re getting.

Well when you’re self-centered and perfect in every way. This satisfies your self-centered attitude. This is how they keep this company running. This company satisfy large egos.

Funny how the trolls have been busy downvoting nearly everything, including factual information here. Maybe the tyrants censors that run this site can do something useful and block them.

Regardless of 4% or not, it's still not even close to keeping up with inflation.

Yes, but they prefer to reduce benefits and layoff.
