Thinking like me and I have to assume unless the executives are that out of touch and living on the moon then they would know people like me have zero respect for them and blow off everything they say. Town Halls, Calls, Emails I just check boxes and ignore it all. I figure ATT is due for another stupid major move in the next few years so as long as the checks keep coming I will smile but between my ears leadership is littered with yes man mo--ns following Jim Jones Type right to the Kool Aid fountain.

It doesn't matter how awful they treat the employees or how many they fire. That doesn't produce respect. The only way to be respected is to earn it with competence. No chance of that with our illustrious "leadership".
They don’t care what you think and never have. Same at any company and I have worked for a few. Very few folks successfully climb the ladder. I, like you, am not one of them (though I did try dang hard when I was younger). Ultimately, the best thing you can do is exactly what you’re doing. Skim those emails real quick, then move on to do your job. Build something for yourself outside work. I don’t like others deciding my fate in life. Which is why I’m moving into working for myself.
