Thread regarding Mondelez International Inc. layoffs

Mandatory overtime

I won't do mandatory overtime anymore. I'll find another job. Mandatory overtime is my biggest source of stress. Of course, I think it's okay to be dedicated to your job, which usually implies doing some overtime as well, but it seems to me that Mondelez has lost all sense of what is considered too much overtime?

You give good sales people a bad name.

Instead of going home to play golf, you should go back to school and learn spelling and grammar.

It's "possible" not "posable,"
unless you're a "poser."🤣

We have the opposite problem! Anytime merchandisers get close to 40 hours or sales reps 42 hours we get sent home!

I can't remember a single week lately where I haven't worked overtime. The days vary way too much as well. I shouldnt be working 10 plus hour days following a random 4-5 hour day. Can't ever tell when I'm going to be off. Merchandisers also have zero accountability and many don't even come in the assigned stores while expecting the SRs to cover their shortcomings.

Expanding on previous answer. No, i very seldom work overtime. I have even heard of people being told not to work a day if they are going to go over 40.

That's sure the truth!

I only get newbies, and the lowest of the low quality, only a warm body type of merchandisers, and I'm expected to pick up all the slack behind them.

This company needs to be ruled by a union to keep them in line. They would not get away with the majority of their cr-p if there were a union.

Nasty company, with nasty, crooked management.

Whatever the policy is, make darn sure it’s the same for all! Get it in writing! They are really good at using overtime as an avenue for discrimination! Even to the point when the more seasoned merchandisers are only with one rep and other reps get newbies and are expected to perform their jobs in the same amount of time! Yeah right! It’s a joke! When I walk into a store behind a new merchandiser who puts things anyplace they want! Hold this company accountable, make them pay!!!
