Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

You should always be working on your employability

I'm a veteran of the banking industry for four decades. In that time, I have worked for four large and two regional banks. I had no issues finding a new job at any point in my life because I followed three simple rules. The first one is to always look for a new job, whether you're planning to leave or not. The second is to make sure your skills remain up to date. And finally, rely on networking and make sure to contact people who could help you in the future even when you don't need anything from them. Keep those in mind and you should have no issues moving to a new job when you feel it's time.
