Well DUH genius....as soon as you hit your 50's, you become a target at EVERY company for "downsizing/reduction in force". It's the way Corporate America works and they've become so good at it, it's very difficult to prove/win in a court of law.

The IBM genius's were stupid enough to put it in email and send correspondence back and forth to each other! Time will tell how/if they are held accountable for their blatant stupidity.

With the change to "2.0" I hired a person with a six in the beginning of their age and was asked by my VP why?

Because he was the best was almost not a good enough answer.

When it comes to age discrimination at the company it always seems to have to do with whoever is running the show at the time. Since 2.0 it has been the Kindergarten Kops running things. Notice their impact on the stock price since then.
