Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Pay base increase

How much pay base increase did you get this year? Got 4.25% raise but inflation is 30% higher. This is ridiculous.

To the hater who keeps downgrading everyone’s posts. Get out of the basement and find a job.

0% w/ a performing rating - so must already be at the top of the new job classification. Sucks. Guess I better start looking for something else.

Times have changed. We use to have energy independence, very little inflation if any, and were happy if the BPI pool was funded at > 3%.
I never saw less than 3% except the year 2006 they moved us into the newly formed Verizon Business and we got zero so they could fund the next years VZB STI compensation plan.

I assume the person you’re responding to is a corporate employee. They got 102% this year.

None of the group got 102. It’s either 92/95 or 110

5% raises were pretty norm in my group, and we received 102% our bonus. Pretty solid year with the coming stock payments.

Be grateful, the communication started on 2/14,,,,,,,,,,,4.5% merit, over 100% percentage factor on STI, plus the stock option soon to be disbursed.

Your reading comprehension skills are pretty shlt.
It said inflation is 30% higher than his 4.25% raise.
Therefore it's saying inflation is at 5.5% (it's actually higher than that) so his numbets were as conservatively low as your IQ.

Inflation is not 30% di----t. I got 4.25% for Performing as well. VBG. It is less than I’d like, given inflation rates right now, but more than my 3.5% for performing last year, so I’ll take it.

Performing and 4.25% pay increase. I also got 110% of the bonus. I know people come here to trash VZ, but sometime you just have to be grateful and appreciate what you have.

At 4.25% we’re you rated as Leading? 4% for Performing.

Considering you're willing to lie that much about inflation, what else are you willing to lie about?

How do you know your increase already? Wasn't aware that communication had begun.

Inflation’s record high in US history is 10% in 1981. Don’t know where your du----s gets 30% from. If you don’t like your raise go job hunting you mo--n.
