Thread regarding Whole Foods Market Inc. layoffs

Many forget to stand up for themselves

i dont understand how some people let higher ups overwork them because the company is broken. bare minimum is standing up for yourself when you get pushed around in life. you dont have to stay past your shift, you dont have to skip breaks, you dont have to do someone elses job on top of yours just because they quit or called out. Stand up for yourself because you are getting worn out to make someone else look good, and thats pathetic.

I'm sorry if it bothers anyone, but I had to pull this post into a new thread because I think it's a great advice that many forget.
Do you stand up for yourself?

hey thats my post! thanks lol. its true though. i noticed a lot of new workers (majority of what we have) are really scared and end up getting burned out and just leaving or getting pushed around until their faith in hard work gets broken. its a lose/lose. i like this company but its not training good workers anymore, its training obedience to the norm.
