Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

Bank of America is where careers go to die

Full RTO...good people will leave and they will continue to import visa workers from India who don't know anything and barely speak English.

Attrition is horrible and they know it...but they have to pay executives their millions

Good people are overwhelmed with work while non preformers get to skate by

They are doing massive counters to good people in effort to stop the talent walking out of the door. But have seen one one taking them up on their offers.

Overall this is a horrible place to be. Even with hybrid this place leaves a lot to be desired.

This company has really gone down to shlit. This use to be a great place to work but in the past few years leadership has been poor. Our CEO BM has done absolutely nothing to keep the employees safe during this pandemic. This fcking blockhead has rewarded his azz a hefty increase to his salary . Furthermore, he gave employees a shlitty raise that doesn't keep up with inflation. This only shows how much he care about our health and financial well being.

I feel like my programming career took a massive detour here. Tech groups are all offshore / on visa. So much for diversity. Business side has restrictions and can't use tools to get the job done. Can't even download the software without special permission and hoops to jump through. Absolute nightmare trying to get the business and tech groups to work together. Management is clueless. I'm looking for something else.

Many of the job postings say that they won’t sponsor H1B visas.
