I can work from home two days a week. My manager said the days do not need to be the same every week. I can work around my kids schedule.

They ARE coming out with hybrid. It’s coming. Some managers may not like it but it is coming. Surveys will be coming out in the next month to ask everyone what they would like to see.
I was told by my manager hybrid approach will not even be considered. Leaderships lack of consideration for employees, and refusal to evolve and consider more flexible work options is astonishing, and disappointing.
Press your manager for hybrid. They won't fire everyone.
I really need to find a new job...
