Which groups are providing the HTHD hot sauce?
I'm needing some GSR spice.

Even this "potential" pay bump isn't enough to keep up with the market. There are plenty of companies that will pay Bay Area salaries to high talent people no matter where they live and remote work is making these jobs more accessible and easier to get.

Thank you for the explanation.
@3bfp+1fmAdvjk Here is an example, if your current band range is 80-120, and your salary is 120 and the new range is 98-160 no raise for you as 120 is between 98 and 160. And since 120 is near the mid point (129) good luck getting anything but minimal raises in the future.
The band #s above are made up, picked numbers that were easy to do the math for, but you can follow the logic with the real GSR 8 salary ranges.
A goodly number of long term GSR 8 are in the 4th quartile.
"Range is 22% higher, BUT if you're current pay overlaps with the new range there is no adjustment to your pay. "
I'm not sure I understand this. If the salary range for each level is adjusted by 22% for HTHD, how can you receive no increase in pay?
That bites @3pck+1fmAdvjk
Seems like the only benefactors are those cozy with higher ups, who are getting the classification as a reward for brown nosing, and are getting instant salary bumps.
Others just getting the promise of a possible higher salary, which will never be attained with merit increases. Rest assured once your salary is higher than your peers you will be made redundant
@1agl+1fmAdvjk - I gotta agree with you there. I learned about it during my wrap-up PR meeting, and that I'd been reclassified into it. Range is 22% higher, BUT if you're current pay overlaps with the new range there is no adjustment to your pay. And the only way to not be in the overlap was to be at the bottom the previous range. Just another stick with a field carrot dangling off of it and the expectation we're too stupid to see it for the non-raise that it is.

HTHD is a joke.
Let's have more fun with this topic. VR will completely eliminate the needs for transportation. You eat and sleep within it.
Just look it up on the HR portal.
Management says they want Ford to be a software company, not an automotive company. HTHD will be aligned accordingly.
