Can we get back on topic for a moment, please?

Can anybody share any layoffs info, if there is any?

Once they beef up the UK presence that’s currently underway, there will be layoffs in the US. They are revamping and enlarging the UK offices so that they can move the UK folks back home.

Theres no serious economic downturn and most teams are understaffed and so no layoffs are coming.

My former stepson was hired at Citi (because he could not get a job anywhere else in Wall Street) as a favor from his father’s prep school classmate, who retired a few years ago………

People are leaving this sinking ship without severance, so there is no reason for layoffs. They will move people around to go where needed. This will only continue as the people who are left will have to put up with being overworked everyday or leave. I believe this is all part of a bigger plan to get out of certain lines of business as cheaply as possible.

Layoffs are directly tied to the direction of the company which in turn is directly tied into Jane’s decisions. So yeah, her actions are important and warrant notice and discussion.

Easy there champ. There will be NO layoffs and if there was not to worry, Jane will be well taken care of, that’s all that matters.

I'm worried that no news might equal bad news soon.
