Who noticed in the Mask update "unvaccinated essential staff should continue to mask"
So again, employees have been in office unvax'd this whole time..... but I thought the unvax'd was so scary to the health and well being of the company????

Just let the unvax and unmask come into the office. Let the others continue wfh. Ways solution and everyone will be happy. Or will the unvax and unmask not like it because they can't have their cake and eat it too?
I was surprised to see that comment about those who opted not to get the vax being in the office already. Agree with most that resisting the vax mandate does not look like it will result in termination. I personally know a few HIGHLY competent individuals (one vax, one not) who would have walked away if BNYM instituted the policy.
I like to think BNYM would ve made the same decision even if there weren't a talent crisis but.. I'm not sur

I find BNYM to be disgusting . Stop segregating based on bs. If they’re following cdc they’d know status doesn’t matter and doesn’t make you better. I’m not allowed to ask you your status but you can tell everyone what’s going on with others by not allowing them in office

let's be real BNY cant even afford to fire unvax FTEs with how hard it is to backfill resources during these great resignation times. unless you really are useless to the firm they will find another reason to let you go

2 - I am not for the flu vax either becasue it never works...... Typically after flu season they say it was only 30=40% effective.

I'm all for ones right to choose what's best for their own health, but I wonder how many of "youse guys" gave any thought to vaccines before corona... It's likely you haven't but instead lap up the fox news propaganda, and from paid personalities who are without question, themselves, vaccinated. Fox is in the business of preying on your ignorance. Politics aside, these are the same employees who are now scrambling to get a vax appointment to hopefully save their menial jobs... How else do you explain the barrage of people that have been taking unannounced afternoons off all month and just before the deadline to register vax status. You continue to be part of the problem with this company - too many workers operating in fear of losing their job. At least have some conviction, even if it is rooted in stupidity - challenge the so called leaders each step.
This really bites. I won't be sharing an elevator with unmask ppl and my floor is higher then 8.
Im sure no face mask in conference room either. No collaboration for me. I probably won't even sit at my desk, I'll go find a floor away from anyone not wearing a mask

couldn't imagine being so weak and fearful that I double mask, have 3 shots, and still am scared of someone else........
I don't want to go back to the office but it has nothing to do with covid or the 'dirty scary unvax'd'
The only times I plan on getting up are to go to the bathroom, get food, or step outside to walk. If anyone needs me they can send an email or call me on teams. You can request people not come to your desk for “collaboration”.
