You can't make this stuff up -- not only is Hairya$s now on the board of J&J, but it just so happens that Hon, J&J, and P.fiz.er are all "partners" with The Great Reset/Build Back better oligarchs over at WEF! Small world, at their level...

OP…Better for who?
Never for us. Those software that come from overseas are not able to do anything and don’t make it a secret they are here to take over the company. How do they do that? By replacing the top layer with more Indians. What a ripoff and a large scam.

@OP "Would be a great day for all of us." Really? Are you better off now than under the last CEO? Why would you think the next will necessarily be better?

It is under That CEO that our major plan to go connected and bring cash instead became a farce that became a hire Indians to show technology. After multiple tries where did that go? As expected into the ditch. We have now a boatload of suck-sr bleeding us from innovation and pushing the stock down
Lay them all off starting at the top

I doubt he is on his way out. Drop in stock price will be blamed on COVID's impact on airlines and office businesses, and on the impending Russian hostile takeover of Ukraine. The board will give him several more years to right the ship. Nice rumor and wishful thinking, but unfortunately not true.

Are you crazy? He will lay off half the company and work the other half twice as hard to make the numbers.

The drop in stock price is directly due to DA. He is the CEO. That mean by law he is personally responsible for everything that happens at Honeywell. The loss of talent to the tune of more than 23% of the U.S. workforce (per the annual report) is directly due to his lack of leadership and absoulutely corrosive policies that are set up to line his pockets on the backs of the employees. Wall Street saw right through his avalanche of excuses for pi$$ poor performance and prices the stock accordingly.

Be careful what you ask for. I'm in Aero and we were hopeful when it was announced Tim M. was moving on and being replaced with MM. A change can actually get worse.

@1qsa Leadership must earn respect. I don’t have any respect for DA. Among other offenses, he has fostered a culture of employee abuse and exploitation. He needs to be removed if this company is to be successful. I am currently disenfranchised, but would vote out if I owned enough shares.

Totally agree with a previous reply: "the $500 bottle of wine stupidity". I watched that online meeting (DA's first Town Hall). After that, I stopped listening to him. What a jerk.

This is not just about Darius or no Darius. It’s about that mafia that keeps bringing Indians in management positions and no local people. That creates a drop in morale and a very subservient attitude which doesn’t help innovate.

Everyone with value that can leave has left. That leaves you with people waiting out the days to retirement or people that are new. They value obedience not productivity. Make sure to complete your unconscious bias training.

The drop in stock is not due directly to him. Issue is mostly software failures for years. We keep swapping teams from same location but it just doesn’t work, so they are wondering what to do. Looks like we may keep doing the same thing over and over

If you can get the board and Wall Street analyst reading this, you probably have your shot to kick off DEA. Sorry, Honeywell is Communist Party, DEA is your god. His job is forever. if you don't like, find another job elsewhere, stop winning and bi-----g.

Jesus, let it be so. Maybe that is why Darius was named to the board yesterday for Johnson and Johnson. This also explains the id--tic Vaccine Mandate he is pushing.

Agreed. HON is not a stock I'd ever have thought to invest in if I didn't work there. And the more I know about how the company is run from within the less I want to own the stock.

No amount of coaching changes a person that reeks of elitism and arrogance. Darius still oozes both. And those attributes continue to instill disrespect and contempt among the ranks.

Selling stock in the 401(k) is not like trading in a regular account. Between the time the shares were deposited and I sold the next day, they were already down a couple of points. That's why the match should never be in company shares.

With him out hopefully, his vision of footprint reduction goes along with him. Grow the sites and stop the layoffs. Easiest way to squeeze every ounce of profit out to give to the wallstreet bangers is by laying off workers and that, any CEO can do that job. Growing the business is where you will need a special kind of CEO to take helm and Honeywell is in deperate need of that which it deserves.
If Darius is out, he can bring his presidents and vp along with him. Let a new reign of Honeywell begin.

Darius mentioned a $500 bottle of wine in his first townhall. It was really rough and completely out of touch with normal worker experience. He immediately got intense coaching and improved over time.
Still comes across as an aristocrat who is above normal work.
Meanwhile Elon sleeps in the factory writing code and welding.

@dtd You can move the 401k match out of company stock the next day.
You're not losing anything.
Unless you don't move it.
Then you are a F00L.

Cote ruined what was a good company when he came from GE. Darius lost any faith the rank file might have had in him with the $500 bottle of wine stupidity et al. And the board of directors is just as culpable because Darius is the chairman and the rest of the board agreed to go along with his gargabe. They lost their a$$ on the stock price due to their won hubris. The shame of it is that the average investor got scr3wed and then the employees got scr3wed when their 401(k) was given in company stock.
