Thread regarding Cisco Systems Inc. layoffs

Fair compensation

It’s hard to be objective about it, but I don’t think I’m fairly compensated for the amount of work I do, especially compared to some other colleagues.
In fact, I think there are many more people at Cisco right now who think they’re not fairly compensated than those who are?

True - I changed my gender and ethnicity within workday and that promotion I was skipped over for years, was given to me. It seriously works...

Do you think you could get paid more elsewhere?

Prove it.

Welcome to the corporate world where nothing is fair. What's actually fair in our world?

Fair is an emotional, subjective term (and a good reason to hate it). If you feel like you’re being sc--w-ed, then take another job.

Cisco is not a performance based company, compensation is based on strategic relationships.
