How is the "Return to Office" enforced?

I don't think managers at director level see any of the badge-in data, but they keep vaguely implying we need to be in the office several days a week. I haven't gone in since the push to return this month. At what level are people actually looking at this data and enforcing anything?

People are being told to drive to offices far away in the name of collaboration, BUT most teams are not in one office. Some of these offices have no one else from your team. I guess he would rather have you drive to an office to be on the same MS Teams call as you would from a Teams call at home. What a joke

I don't know WTF Frank's issue is with WFH. It seemed ok for us to accommodate him for almost 2 years. And guess what, we got our work done, there was better attendance, and better morale. Frank should be happy to offload real-estate and let people work from home.

My manager told me I need not worry about returning. He said Frank's policies are just to close up any legal loopholes due to all the remote workers forcibly laid off. He said Frank's image would look pretty bad if he continued to let certain people work from home but not others. So there you have it - Frank only cares about Frank and doesn't care at all about client perception.

Too bad they are most likely tracking your IP address and can tell you are logging in from home.

Lol. been doing it since September and not once called on it unlike others who have stayed home.

My manager even thanked me for coming in.

I go in every day- for 10 mins. I swipe in the main entrance, grab a cup of coffee at the coffee bar then walk right out to side door and back home. Its a waste of time but keeps me off Frank's list. I am hoping for the perfect attendance award.

We aren't children but when we are treated like them, we act like then.

RTO not enforced equally across all BUs. Some give a sh-t and kiss a-s forcing their underlings to return, others don't and ignore the reports sent by the NY *.

They run a report every month to see who is in the office less than 50% of the time. Then they contact that person's manager to see why you are out so much.

They also have a report for people who badge in exactly zero times. Sounds like you will be on that report.
