Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

3 more weeks and we are back!!

I'm getting excited! Anyone else? Going out for lunch, getting to get into nice clothes again, leisurely drive at the end of the day to unwind, getting to hear about everyone's weekend. It's going to be great ! 👍

Good for you! You can do all of that without the office. Meanwhile many of us will have greatly reduced quality of life

At our location, your laptop has to be cabled down to the desk using a security cable, and you are responsible for everything else you bring.

I am not going back! And I will never have to endure the gossipy bully woman ever again. Or have to avoid the nasty 🤮 bathroom ever again.

@1fed+1fpabhhx, No lockers? Are you able to lock your stuff up at your workspace for the day at least? It’s kind of a dealbreaker for me if I can’t lock up my not cheap messenger bag which contains wallet, cellphone and nice sunglasses.

Just remember if someone leaves their materials on a desk to reserve it every da, do not move the items and take that spot. Just move the items and take a different spot. Some unknowing su---r will take that spot and the Karen will unload on them. Sit back and enjoy the war you started.

It would ki-l off a lot of job prospects and leave the tech department -esp developers- in an even worse position, but yeah you keep that corporate wet dream going.

At least you get lockers. We do not. You take out whatever you bring in, every day.

don’t get too excited, at my location, all looks good but no one can tell you procedure to be assigned a locker! Others are confused why an assigned location has unassigned seats- “never heard such a thing” ugh

@1tjd absolutely. If I have to show up in an office I'm wearing the most offensive metal band t-shirt I have. The Municipal waste one about building walls.

Nice clothes? LOL Dress codes are an archaic business practice.

I work in comfortable clothing. Jeans and a Tshirt.

I made a tasty fish dinner last night that I’m excited to warm up in the break room microwave in three weeks.

@OP you meant 3 more weeks and YOU are going back. I'm still listed as remote and will remain that way regardless of their choice. I've already commented how the threat of a "firing" after a string of annual "4/performing" reviews isn't the threat they think it is.

Have fun thinking you're owning us.

My commute is a half mile walk. Getting there is not the problem. Attempting to get anything done in an open office while our old, drunk, blowhard manager brags loudly and incessantly about his glory days is the problem.

Time to move.

I can't wait to smell everyone's floral perfume and queue up in the shared toilets! I missed that.

None of that sound appealing, to me, in any way whatsoever.
Sounds like going back to spending an additional $5000-$6000 a year for no purpose, again, to me.
