Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

How do you motivate yourself to work hard?

I can't. I used to take pride in the fact that I always did my best and gave 110 percent all the time but after years of only getting more work assigned to me as a result, I completely lost my drive. I've never had this issue before, but AT&T has managed to annihilate my motivation and in turn my productivity. I just can't do it anymore.

this is the reason why AT&T will continue to offshore your jobs. If you lack motivation, do us all a favor a leave.

att syndrome - such a great company. lol can't say that with a straight face.

hope anybody who is thinking of working here runs far away because att is a dead company and there is no future unless you are great at spreadsheets and you can manage union personnel.

innovation is dead at att but maybe it is alive in Israel who knows.

Why would you want to work hard for this company when there's zero reward...surely you jest!

Sadly, you represent the majority of the T workforce.

Funny how that works..the better you take care of a customer the worse your metrics look

I still enjoy taking care of customers, metrics be damned. The company has done their level best to beat any sense of really serving the customer out of me but it hasn't worked.

I am with you on that. I just look at it as a paycheck anymore and stay out of the spotlight. I no longer care for AT&T as they don't care about me.
