Yes, it's definitely a bit cultish, starting with the fact that the process is based on a Manifesto. Intended to reinforce the team aspect of it all I guess, but they co-opted the wrong vernacular...
Does anybody else get a creepy vibe whenever they call meetings "ceremonies"...?
It kinda makes my skin crawl.
RTO has no meaning; it will change to Optional RTO by next AMA meeting. It will only have two groups--> Those who wants to go to office vs those who wants to work from home.

@OP, agile teams will be required to go to the office for certain meeting AND as required by the scrum master.
So if your scrum master along with your manager deem it necessary that you go to the office 2-3 days a week, that would be consistent with what Saul stated.
It's not that complicated.
This guy is a absolute, complete clown being fed with softball questions to answer, what a joke. If upper management had any brains whatsoever, they'd be embarrassed listening to this guy speak. The same goes for the board of directors. "Goliath national bank" rages on.

OP here, yes, 3/14 is consistent. The hybrid assignment is BS. We are registered agile team and are mandated to show up 3 days each week and not for ceremonies only.
Other companies are offering work from home
The 3/14 RTO date has been pretty consistent recently
