Yes MW is from Denver, but NBL was acquired for the Israel / EMED assets like a prior poster said - it’s in the SEC filings.

The bonus has been the NBL Colorado assets and team. Smoking results. Cherry on top.

I thought it was purchased because of the DB asset. Isn’t MW from Denver?

Noble was purchased for their Israel assets. It is all in the journals disclosed during the merger discovery by the feds. Chevron has no real drilling desire on the Noble Permian assets. They will farm that out for others to drill.

EG is a mess. Chevron dipped a toe in and out a dozen times. Good riddance.

Do you think this will affect layoffs or do you just post here because you are new to the internet and just learned what clicking the mouse does?

No surprise. This wasn't a core asset to Chevron, and the last thing SR wants is more West African problems.

It’s not a fire sale when Brent is $100 bbl. EG was never a core asset. Noble was purchased for its Permian acreage.
