You will get old one day. If you're able to read, then start with Kinney vs IBM. Young people a) don't want to work for this dinosaur b) don't have the intelligence, loyalty, expertise or client rapport older people have. Many of those high performing, skilled employees who were laid off had to train these "young" employees. Quotes are in the lawsuit...It took four ppl to try & do one older employees job. One young employee commented "I don't get this," among other imbecilic comments. IBM deserves to implode for destroying people's lives.
There was probably a reason you got paid off. Because you don’t great value perhaps? Move on bro
@1ktx - I hear you, my friend. IBM's treated a lot of good people like dirt, and done it with impunity and arrogance. Whenever there's a layoff, it's a management failure, and not the employee's fault. Stay positive, and try not to be discouraged about it -- Better days are ahead! 😎
Go play in another sandbox. I was reflecting on something that’s painful. Perhaps others could relate. Kindness goes a long way. Or just watch the news to get some humility today.
