Can’t see Kyndryl taking any of GBS when they are bleeding money Their earnings today announce yet another 5% shrink of revenue New name but same old play book This is yet another arrow at Ginni’s leadership Why do you keep GTS when all it did was bleed revenue and profit

DDN is most likely too small (400 million) IBM wants to outsource their manufacturing (most likely all of it if the deal is structured correctly), keep the proprietary SW, and partner via a GF deal (Eg IBM does the research and you license the technology. IBM guarantees you their cloud HW business and possibly the Enterprise business). If someone signs on for that, they have to be USA sourced, big to gain component leverage from suppliers, have a channel, and have the ability to leverage IBM’s technology for their product set. (most likely HPE, but Lenovo could full the ho-e too).

Naw. unless a BU or division it'll be the same - death of 1000 small cuts - spread out - to avoid reporting requirements.

Kyndryl (eh what) split time would have had most other jettisoned things.

Farming anything to them now would require a deal with them.

More likely just contract 'n ki-l (like Notes now with move to Outlook).

Well I could see more storage HW and SW (such as GPFS) get sold to Lenovo or DDN

Good at? Soaking employees for effort unrewarded.

Wait I thought it was Jan, no no I mean Feb 17th, no no I really mean end of the quarter. Trying to predict IBM is impossible, because there are too many chiefs who can say no or gum up the works
