Hayes, CPG executive announced retirement, Kimbrew, head of Property Management announced retirement, KJ, head of CPG helpdesk resigned, Bowlan, head of Admin Property Management resigned/retired. All within last couple of weeks. CPG is imploding. Outsourcing?

CPG is probably the worst run department in the entire company, and that’s saying something.

Maybe CPG is being outsourced to JLL

Wells Fargo Properties actually did NOTHING. They sat at home and dictated - oh sorry - delegated ALL the work to expensive contractors. It’s going to be a cluster. Trust me.

CPG had 2 years to get ready for RTO, they did these "restacks" and "clean slates" well right before the pandemic my floor got restacked in twice in two month and then again during the pandemic. All they did was move us around the floor and remove and replace brand-new technology kit of parts each time. That alot of monitors docking stations keyboard/mouse and desks tops used for vdis that were wasted. That's all they did oh and box up peoples stuffs and move it to the hallway. They lied and said no one completed the survey about how much and what personal items people had so it got left behind at their old building if they were moved. its about time they shake up CPG. RTO is going to be a mess and in some buildings if everyone shows up on the same day there will not be enough seats, but CPG is confident that will not be the case.....

@1ymh I think you don’t understand the facts. With all the mergers and acquisitions we went through, those buildings came with the company. Then, it was such a beast and top executives promised no major layoffs that they said to just keep running it like yesterday until we can get a grasp on this titan of industry and start condensing to create efficiencies. You made it sound like we just sat around buying up needless property. Not the case. Just like with our branches today, we were so strong, we kept them open and laid off no one while stock soared to $65. What you see now is not just cost savings and offshoring, it’s also an effort to run this company (NORWEST) like ONE WELLS FARGO.

Also, CPG can sUcK it bc these other posts are right. They’re the worst group we have.

@1crk+1ftGsDN8 Also the ones that had negligence in allowing WFC footprint to grow so wide allowing for all of these people to have so many options building wise. Should have never got this out of control, what we see now is reigning that in like any good business should.

Good. Couldn't happen to a better group. These are the clowns that gleefully report building closures every year to make themselves look good, never mind the laid off employees that are victims of the startegy. These are the people that think employees paying $200+ a month to park at work is a good idea. These are the ones that fought to get rid of offices, assigned desks, and taller cube walls right before a pandemic. They routinely obstruct progress and militantly enforce their little rules even when doing so clearly makes no sense in a specific situation. I've dealth with cpg folks for a long time, and I've never felt like their mindset was "we support employees" or even "we support your LOB". Contract 99% of it out, says I. Maybe the contractors will understand that they provide a service, instead of us serving them.

Maybe they are being forced out because of their epic failure with the RTO. Assigning people to locations over 50 miles from their house when other large locations are available closer….and the volume of change requests received as evidence of their ridiculous decisions….

Layoffs really f'ed them up. Now the managers leave after they set the building on fire.

Got laid off in April 2021. Got a nice package and it took me to retirement. That was my promotion! I didn’t need to resign. Now I’m consulting when I want making a ton of money, and traveling when I want sipping on rum and margaritas!

Don't need a large CPG if most people are working remotely. These are the smart ones.

The Great Resignation is going to hit Wells Fargo far, far harder than they think it is.

Turnover is EXPENSIVE on many levels, not just strictly financial.

Wells is going to find itself overstaffed in some areas and woefully understaffed in other areas.

It's going to be a circus. Glad I'll be gone by then.
