Project Brody - CVS reorganiztion

Formal project name for reorganization to better align business units to deliver on Karen's vision for integrated healthcare experience for the customer.

NDAs have now begun with Executive Directors and SVPs who are working with a firm named accenture to establish org structure, alignments, Job descriptions, support partner roles, and labor model. This is not just a FS/RX division project but an entire enterprise reorganization. Open Executive Director roles and above are frozen unless critical to maintain business operations. Expected announcement coming in next 3 months as company prepares for M&A process to support acquiring and growing Urgent care/PCP networks.

I asked a DM at a different Rx company years ago - how does the company justify such incredibly high compensation for the CEO? The answer: that's what other companies pay. Based on the stores in my district CVS is losing employees (FS and RX) on a daily basis - is Karen even aware of this or so isolated that she thinks everyone and the customer level is happy. How long do the players at DL level and above think their employees will continue to tolerate the treatment they receive from CVS and the verbal abuse they receive from customers?

Karen, my guess is with your multimillion dollar salary and countless other perks you could care less ,- as long as the grunts continue to do the work of taking care of customers. How many hours did you have to cut from your administrative staff or like you were your staff not impacted by recent hour cuts.

Great job Karen you and your team are the prime example of working with HEART - but in your case and that of your team it seems to be a very cold heart. Keep up the great job and keep calculating the value of that Golden Parachute you'll be awarded when.you leave. Any idea that the majority of your employees may be lucky if the get a thank you on their last day.

Maybe Karen and the suits should freeze their own pay. Or maybe Karen can cut some of her many assistants hours. Corporate takes home millions and we cut hours on front line workers making $15. Corporate greed at its finest!!!!

This has definitely been floating around the rumor mill for some time. Question really is what does this look like? And will this improve the job/ life of the field leaders?
