I'm too tired. Perhaps someone here works even more than 55 hours a week? Fiserv has become an unbearable workplace that drains all energy from its employees. Nothing will change for the better for me if I don’t leave, I know.

I do and get time and a half for it.
I was doing the work of two long-gone employees. I did my 40 and went home.
Doing anything different is just validating the insanity.
I had to chuckle at the "work your 40 and go home" comment.
If someone is claiming they are getting away with telling a demanding BU/manager/director to wait until tomorrow (or next week) because they are walking out the door at five, I don't believe it. I give that behavior about day or two before the person is in HR.
The only way my schedule was going to change was by leaving. It certainly wasn't going to be solved by thinking I could thumb my nose at management and not experience repercussions.
It is your own fault if you work 55 hours a week.
Make sure to fill out your clarity for those 55+ hours.
The outage will still be there on Monday. Just go home when you hit 40.
Yes, try to get out!
