Let us not give Mr. Yabuki a free pass on this one people. Yes, the company was more employee friendly, was better towards customers and better overall during his tenure. However, he made the choice to jump ship along with his monumental golden parachute. He also knew very well what type of people he was handing over the reigns to. So, do not give Jeffrey a free pass on this one.

The company was much better off when he was there, but I don't kid myself. I checked his salary and compensation, and half of it was bonuses. I worked in I.T., and I never saw a whiff of a bonus. But every year, we always got notices from the big Vegas conventions with Magic Johnson speaking (no telling how much was spent there).
I'm pretty sure Jeff was well compensated, even if he was pushed out. Me? I was making $10K less than the going rate for my position. And never saw more than a 1-2% increase.

Apparently Frank has been handing out restricted stock units to select employees, and not even managers understand why certain associates are being given them and others not. Frank is playing favorites again, no doubt.

agree we don't know the circumstances around Jeff's departure this post is nothing more than a distraction. Frank and team OWN the mess.
To OP we do not know if anything you said is true. It seems to be a forced retirement. But I cannot back my statement up either as I do not know the details of JY's departure.
Not giving anyone a pass...we don't work for JY anymore, we work for Frank. At least for now.
