Can't say I disagree. I put in my notice and I finish on 3/11, a couple of weeks in the caribbean the start a new gig on March 28th. Just get motivated and get it done. Nobody here is going to change the fact that we're expected back in the office so why be miserable?
It is interesting that a lot of the Executives in the company have received exceptions to WFH and yet the peons get denied. Typical Corporate America.
tenure only matters when it comes to pto allotment and severance. I think the last time it meant anything to me was like 20 years ago where the group I was with would approve pto based on seniority in cases where multiple people were asking for the same days off

And LOL @ losing xx years of ‘seniority’ at a non-union job. Seniority and tenure mean nothing unless you are at some sort of union or university job.
What in the world do you think "tenure and seniority" means in today's world? You can and will be replaced with someone who has less than 5yrs experience for a fraction of your cost. I know "tenure and seniority" meant something to you, but this isn't the 60's and 70's, people. It means _nothing_ to these companies today.
I did leave and find new permanent WFH work, but at the cost of 14 years of tenure and seniority. Things that should not have been necessary to give up, which is the point you RTO blowhards seem to be missing.

You do realize that some of us chose our current jobs because they were fully remote, and that depending on the job itself, remote jobs aren’t that easy to get, right? There are people who left their old jobs in order to obtain a 100% work from home position, so it isn’t always a matter of just going and getting a new one. I guarantee you that if it were that easy, Wells would lose a lot more people.
