I did not get one, nor did several other people I know both in my department and in 2 others. I thought this was supposed to. E bank-wide. What was the criteria for getting one?

as manager, i can say everyone in my group got a bonus, plus a raise. So if you didn't get one then you must be doing something wrong.
Please enlighten us, @1ewg. Or just keep posting useless comments.
Bonuses are discretionary - unless you negotiated a sweet contract when you joined the firm saying you will be getting a bonus every year.
i hate to say .. but there are so many people who are clueless here.
Nobody who asks “Where these bonuses just for some peoples?” will ever be bonus eligible and I suspect that anyone who is looking for the “E Bank“ to find theirs will be looking for a long time.. “I thought this was supposed to. E bank-wide”

In our group the mostly went to my co-workers in NYC who go to lunch with my boss every day.
It goes by department. And much of it is based on history. Once you get a bonus, you are likely to get it going forward. If you didn't get one, you should be asking your manager why. But don't feel too bad. Unless you are high up, the bonuses are minimal.
The few I know who received a bonus were well below grade I.
