The NEW F-150 Lightning will be the BEST selling vehicle EVER.

100% Unbiased Facts (No Fake News)

  • MSRP - $39,794 (minus 7,500 tax credit = $32,294)
  • FASTEST 0-60 F-150 Ever (check Ford's Site)
  • ABOUT $40 to operate the WHOLE MONTH!
  • NO MAINTANANCE
  • EV will get even cheaper!

It would be nice to get one of those F150 lightning trucks that got totalled due to failure of that $20,000 battery.

Yank that battery out and put a 12 valve Cummins pre-emissions Diesel engines in it. The truck is SMOG exempt so no government entity would check it’s emissions!

There is already a guy on YouTube converting a Tesla to a 4 cylinder Cummins out of an old bread truck.

Show you commitment to oil and drive a diesel.

Ford stopped selling the 3.0 turbo diesel F150 because it got better mileage than the hybrid.

I pick diesel over fully electric.

I would consider a diesel-electric. That is proven technology. Trains are diesel electric and they have great range and reliability.

That new electric only F150 does not have great range and the reliability is not proven yet.

I am a happy Tesla customer, I've had my Model 3 for about 3 years now. The car is Amazing, everything else about tesla is bad (e.g., mechanical service, parts, customer service, arroagance, etc. Super fun to drive, super...

I also have an F-150 and love it.

Going forward, I'll always have two cars, only one will be electric.

I am considering buying one of those electric F150’s and put a huge diesel general in the bed that rolls coal.

That will put a new meaning to Indirect Diesel.

Drive an electric car to work at an oil company shows lack of commitment.

PIP for sure.

WTF has this got to do with EM layoffs?

No one has been NSI’d for driving a Tesla. Fairy tales.

Please list known cases in which an EM employee was PIP’d after buying an electric car and proclaiming the virtues of that electric vehicle.

I have heard that electric vehicle drivers dropped in ranking.

I would believe you if Ford had placed a little 800cc hybrid engine instead of making an impractical jump to straight to fully electric.

I'll give you a job security strategy.

  • For driving to campus, use your gas car.
  • Use the electric for everything else and get rich with the savings ;-)
