As you commute to work today, you realize this is the new reality, cubicle work life. 2 years of working from home is over, and ya it sucks.

I know why could they think we’d want to return to a gray sea of cubicles when some of us had our own private bathrooms and offices at home. I know so many people who are getting medical accommodations or taking leave so they can find a fully remote job. Management is covering up the reasons why people are quitting but we all know why.
And it's not just BofA... overheard someone from Chase this morning talking about her 1st day back yesterday. Said there were only 2 others on her floor in a downtown bldg. They had signs saying offering "chair massages, yoga mats in one of the conference rooms and go upstairs to "Make Your Own Crepes!"
(Even though it's not bringing anyone in, at least Chase is trying.)
We had nothing like that. Just small tins of Pringles and bottles of hand sanitizer.
Treat the place for what is is - a job and nothing more.
Don’t donate your time or money and let the bank piggyback on your efforts. No comments or thumbs up on flagscape. Minimal participation in any calls. Let them have it on any surveys. Bring your lunch - don’t contribute to downtown businesses on your lunch break (plus save mad money).
Arrive on time and leave on time. Give them a day’s work and nothing more.
They aren’t your friends or your family.
It’s called checking out.
Was pretty sad showing of people yesterday. I wonder if will only go down. I heard 2 with offices commenting how little amount showed up and it was "past 9am - they would have showed up by now".
Feel so stupid going in while others still at home.
