Thread regarding Ford layoffs

Yeah, I'm in model E now - not really, bad move!

Snarc here.....I do not see the point of moving blot and fat from one part of the company to the other. I can just see it now - they continue to hire in my part of Model E, while they are asking (according to the townhall playing now) for 3 billion of structural costs out of Ford Blue - that is code for people, folks.

Gotta get out of here before it gets worse....

Professor Moonbeam Junior from BGC was appointed Ford’s chief customer officer; how about those apples. Ford “leadership” what a joke. The last leader at Ford was Mulally.

I have moved on from Ford and sympathize with employees for orgs - reorgs - SRDs- Boston Consulting bozos - E/Alphabet divisions - etc. It really should not be that every management move has to be analyzed by employees as whether they will hit an iceberg, get struck by a meteor, or both. But that is a reality and was that way last couple years I worked there. Shame they just can't lead the company in a new direction have everyone's trust like under Mullaly - of course you need a trusted leader for that to happen.

Reporting structure - if you report up to Doug Field, you are now in Model E...if you report up through Kumar, Ford Blue. That is the split announced today
