Many people in IT (OFD) have noticed that there haven't been any internal promotions for several years except at the Director/VP Level. People have been sitting at Application Developer for years and have never moved up. There has been no movement from Analysts to Seniors....what's up with that????

That’s because Fiserv has NO interest in keeping good talent. That has never been more clear as it is now.
How am I supposed to get a promotion when I have literally changed managers 5+ times in 1 year and they have no clue who is performing or under-performing?
My last evaluation was with a manager i was reporting to for 1 week and it was based on how quickly i responded to teams messages.
Clue: The only promotions and raises that you're going to get as an employee of Fiserv involves polishing your resume, and talking to tech recruiters.
But VPs are getting promoted to expert engineer though lol
I went from a "II" to a "III" last year.
Many in IT were contract workers. I was one and the usual suspect time for turning into perm was a year. Never happened after 3. Second, pay was poor (I had a headhunter laugh at that) and our manager tried for an increase --- never happened either. So don't go saying nice things about IT treatment. We were treated as dirt and paid as such.
Not true we changed from a once a year focal promotion under OFSV to a promotion based on performance —- and they can happen at any time; a much better practice.
