DW setting higher targets so he can fire more people and get tens of million$ more in bonuses.

Get rid of Corporate Strategic Research (Clinton, NJ) facility, it’s research staff and the management completely. The benefit of getting rid of CSR’s significantly negative production of value will be tremendous.

Maybe if people would be willing to move to the Permian we could invest that money in growing production. Why don’t we start PIPing based on willingness to go where the work is.

Exxon said it expects to cut annual costs by $9 billion in by 2023, $3 billion more than a previous target, in a drive to quickly pay down debt taken on during the pandemic and double earnings by 2027, over 2019 levels.
