Any of you remote workers seeing different work addresses between Team Works People Search and Workday? Theories?

There are many people who have MAC codes that do not reflect their actual location. Some people have been able to circumvent the process by having themselves assigned a MAC showing them working from building X-X but in reality the live in another state or 500 miles from the office associated with their MAC.
All HR has to do -- if they have not done it already -- is compare a person's MAC location with their home address in workday.

Precisely. That site is basically a dump MAC for anyone working remotely in the Midwest.
Don’t believe all that mail code stuff or the systems stuff. It’s just a way for people to “appear” to work in a hub location when actually they are some ineffective manager or employee hiding out in some small town, WFH, praying no one will find them and make them actually RTO. Probably babysitting their grandkids during work hours too.
I used to be out of the Northstar building, then i moved to remote and they changed my MAC and address in TW to be out of Shoreview.
The various address info for you is in a few different places and they're not all synched up yet. There's workday, the global address list (in Outlook) and the RTO site.
I've had mine changed due to changing roles and it still shows my old address again.
Teamworks is junk at this point until they deal with sorting out where that data comes from.
Yes, this is a known "issue" and has caused no end to the frustration felt by the "leaders".
Was highlighted rather spectacularly in a live meetiing involving several thousand people when one "leader" was looking at something and another "leader" was seeing something totally different.
We're accustomed to experiencing "technical difficulties" in these big meetings, but this occurance was downright entertaining!
I’m not remote but my address on Teamworks and the Workplace site is different than where I was told to go. I’d rather go to the site on Teamworks. Any ideas on when that will update? And if there’s consequences for going to a different site than where you were directed to go? Thanks!
Typical untested Tech project. It’s ok, it doesn’t impact revenue or customers. Who worry’s about employees…
There is an Alternate Work Address in WD, not seen publicly. If the Alt address is your home address, you are remote. If not, your work address is used as the office location.

Look at all of the employees listed for SV site. I won't spell it out, but I can say they don't all work in that city or even that state.
I'm hearing the MAC code can mess up tax deductions. Please stay on your managers to make sure it gets changed. Once it happens to mgrs--touches their pay-- they won't really care....
Manager is listed on Teamworks in a city and state that is a hub location but actually lives and works in a small non-hub location in a completely different state. The Workday address is correct. Manager is 100% WHF. Seems strange doesn’t it
Why would Teamworks show a mail sorting address as a work address. Sounds fishy.
So, I'm remote in California and my Teamwork address is in Texas? This is not adding up.

Correct. The info in the email was disclosed in small print in gray background at the bottom of the note. Guess they didn't want rile up the RTO folks.
Teamwork's address is linked to your MAC address. As a remote worker, the assigned MAC tell you where your mail is sorted. Nothing more. It's always been like this even before Workday.
Seems like address information should be correct when you are a Bank.
Yes…mine has been a hot mess…someone went in and changed my work state to one that was obviously wrong and despite my bringing it up repeatedly it wasn’t changed until then someone changed it to a state my team is in but I am not. So I had incorrect tax deductions for 2 states on last paycheck. I think it is finally being corrected but never should have happened and there is a lot of passing the buck and finger pointing. I spent hours trying to get things corrected for some nameless person’s incompetence.
There's an email about it. Something about how Teamworks won't show us as remote but attaches you to a general MAC address. Workday shows your home address when remote but also apparently links you to a local office/bank. Just some sort of glitch between systems.
Mine are different. Workday is correct, but People Search has me in a different state.
Agreed. Lack of coordination and broken processes/tech. If there is a process Wells can sc--w up, they will do it in a heartbeat!
I have that situation. No theory beyond lack of coordination.
