I have been noticing this year in particular has increased the trend of a lot of clueless groups and managers who don’t really have any good answers on the overall vision/strategy of the firm.
As an example, RTO has been a good example of how everyone seems to have given up and is just coasting (as most of them are on their cell phones and the senior managers in the private offices have their door closed while making it obvious that they are working on other personal matters).
I am not trying to speculate or cause up a stir but this overall morale means something is happening at the top.
Again my observations are limited to a specific group which I don’t want to name but just looking to understand what everyone else is experiencing.
Also with the talk of recession etc. is it smart to stay put or start looking ? The other larger banks are not any better…..
Wells is a pure regulatory play on the street…it seems like the asset cap issues/MRAs are not getting closed! Which probably means turnover at the senior management level ?
