AT&T uses Kaspersky software internally.... How smart is that? Eastern European system admins control the software infrastructure of AT&T too.. How smart is that? All these decisions made to be penny wise..... Now it's time to pay. Not secure. I know. I retired from AT&T as a software security professional. High risk baby!

I left in December last year and can assure you, never ever seen a Kaspersky on any PC during my 18years tenure. OP is a troll. I am asking qui bono?

Worked at AT&T for some 33 years. All of it in Enterprise IT. Worked closely with CSO in many of the roles.
Since I'm retired, I can no longer check the TSS, so can't validate that 100%. Seriously doubt Kaspersky is in the TSS. It would likely have a hard time passing the checkoffs for TSS.
It wasn't until recent times, McAfee got retired in favor of two products. One in active scanning and remediation mode, the other in observation mode only.
He-l, I'm not even aware of AT&T using Alien Vault products, and that is owned by AT&T
att still uses typewriters. no need for AV software.

If you were a security professional you wouldn’t be talking about the security of a former employee that way.
Att is a big company composed of many fiefdoms but kaspersky is not the AV of choice nor is it listed in the approved technology list.
