They've surrounded themselves with sycophants who only tell them what they want to hear, and they told them people will be happy to return to the office. Now that it's obvious that, no, people are not happy and are, in fact, refusing to comply and staying home, they're just going to dig their heels even deeper. Reminds me of Putin and Ukraine.

Returning to office will be an adjustment from working remote for 2 years. I've only been in twice so far and actually liked it. Although the floors I was on were still pretty empty. It'll be interesting to see what happens when way more people show up and the free for all cube inventory goes to zero and you can't find an place to sit.
The unassigned seating thing really sucks though. You show up, cables aren't tied down the same, seats are set differently, some things don't work. And in the office I went to no garbage cans. WTF-- how can there not be any garbage cans?

Current Leadership never admits that they are wrong. And Previous Leadership never admitted that they were wrong.
But Current Leadership will always be willing to admit that Previous Leadership was wrong.
