Most of the decent, knowledgeable managers in tech were replaced with yes men id--ts.
You mean teller engineer manager?
A lot of tech companies rotate people through roles to promote knowledge. It also helps with transparency which is why it will not work at Wells Fargo.
The manager role should be yearly rotational so that everyone in the group gets the opportunity to lead the team. Here WF, manages are 10/20/30 years in same project and no one gets the opportunity. We should lay-off all those over 10 years at same position.
I heard tech was affected.
Never
As a VP, it is imperative that people listen to me. You do not gain the level i have achieved without having incredible knowledge.
Oh please. You can stow that VP C**p right now. I had VPs working for me and they all had zero advantage on the team. You are no more at a higher level with that title than anyone else.
my suggestion is find a new job

If they know it all, maybe you should listen?
@OP+1g1srqT7 I might understand what you are saying....I have a manager that knows our work....BUT is a total d**k to the team! It's his power position-- wants the last word, everything needs to be done his way---regardless of what makes sense. Checking his own boxes for his growth--treats us like grade schoolers.
Our team is great...smart hard workers....but amgr can bring us all down.
With a immature post like this, no wonder.
