Does anyone have a list of companies in the charlotte area offering perm WFH or at least a more flexible approach to RTO? I have a few neighbors working at companies that let you choose if you want to WFH or in the office. There is no bs requirement or minimum number of days. They actually treat adults like adults. What a concept.

Max WFH is a "business idea" / "innovation". Sounds like that's not what the program is really for after all.

OP - you're assuming you bring any value to that org. If you had skills in demand, you would have already been head-hunted. As someone else mentioned, you didn't even bother to look for a job for yourself? Is it a lack of ability or the typical WF employee laziness?

Can we just agree that many large financial services companies already made a decision about the hybrid model?? And Wells Fargo is one of them? There is nothing you can say on this Board to change this decision. So, your choice is to remain miserable about it or take the decision in stride. If you continue to be miserable, then you may want to think about the career change......
Sorry I can't be of help. Working in California, I just love paying around 5 per gallon and spending at least 40 minutes on the road each way every day. the congestion is wonderful. I also don't sleep as much, and ,yes, I get to wake up tired. It is now necessary to have cleaner clothes set aside and my next day lunch prepared in the evening for the next day. So now my evenings get spent for work as well. Damn, RTO is soooo much fun, that I forgot what your question was.
@mam+1g2GNFjq thank you. You can tell this poster had 10 years of WF tenure. That’s pretty much the line, maybe down to 7 years, before the BoA rot started to flood in.
The mentality and toxicity of the BoA crowd is what ruined this place long before JPM invaded the executive ranks. Honestly, the JPM crew are probably what kept the place from tipping over sooner. Between the fake account scandal and the toxic BoA crowd this place was doomed for years.
Now, the mix of BoA talentless and toxic people mixed with the JPM overconfident Pollyannas are driving out what’s left of people who know what to do. Good luck a-holes, you reap what you sow.

Robinhood's a scumbag company (1/28/21 never forget) but I second what anon said above. I work for Coinbase after working at WF nearly a decade, it is absolutely mind-blowing what a difference a culture makes (actually treated like adults, & they value you). It's a remote-first company meaning going to the office will always be optional. The pay and benefits are better. It's like a breath of fresh air after suffocating underwater. They can't hire up FTE fast enough, while trying to reduce their BPO headcount, while WF is the exact opposite. Check around on LinkedIn or Twitter people you used to work with, chances are some of them are now at CB. We have a LOT of ex-WF people here and more joining all the time as the mass exodus continues.

And many, many more. These companies have all realized what it takes to survive and recruit in the current environment. The big banks like WF and BAML will continue to lose talent to better managed (and often times better paying) companies such as the ones I listed above. Best of luck OP. I can’t even imagine having to go back to the office. I promise you, the grass is far greener on the other side.
Ummm, why the charlotte area if you're working remote. Either way, lots of online job sites list remote opportunities. Check indeed.
