Parents are more comfortable talking to someone in person about their banking needs, as I’m sure more older folks do, seems company def doesn’t give a sh-t about them
They aren’t laying anyone off in this job market … plus, no tellers has been in the works for 2 years now. Tellers are now RB’s, this is the future model. This is why they raised minimum wage because they know the roles making that much money are being phased out vs actually paying anyone more
We will see reqs for them to be placed in even though they have no experience. Wash rinse repeat.
They won't let them go. Most likely will be offered RB roles.
AI robot tellers. They already have this in some locations. You sit in a private office with a computer screen and the AI bot on screen answers your questions. If you need a real human, you go to the one financial center strategically placed in each city. Branch locations are going full AI bot.
So the bank updated and built new branches for what? Yo get rid of the tellers? Oh wait because they are going to offshore the tellers. Gotcha.
Why are they called tellers? they never tell you anything.
Most of the tellers are rude anyway. Must be the trickle down effect from the top down.
They already are.
Dude, most branches only have 2 tellers if that working at a branch. This company is so mismanaged. They need to layoff them middle management mutherfuhkers that don't shlit but have waste of time meetings and many of them don't know their azz from a ho-e in the wall.
When was the last time you were in a branch? Not many tellers left.
Can you tell us a bit more?
