Just caught wind of their plan to layoff the service mngrs end of the year. Just when I thought this company is gearing towards the good something horrible always comes out.

I believe the pay would be affected…. though I cannot say 100%…but definitely the hours and days of the week you would work would be affected.
Was it a reduction in pay, or just different role?
The employee handbook defines Displacement as “Business leadership eliminates an employees position because of a restructure, changing market conditions, or a reduction of work”. That is exactly what happened to Service Managers positions, starting April 1, 2022. Why did they not get Severance pay? WF is being shady and gave nothing in writing. They cannot force a service manager to take on another role like a teller or first level banker. They should have offered a choice…. take severance or another position… but can’t force you in a position. The whole process was so unprofessional and unethical!! Yet, they have an Ethics line to report if you see something unethical…. what double standards!!
how reliable is this "just caught wind" source.
better to start making plans now than waited out.
Anyone have any insight? I would like details because I am debating on applying out or would it be worth it to wait it out?

Often times, whatever square one job they can move them to. They won’t have a choice, it’s take it or leave.
When and what type of job will they be mapped to?
There will not be packages offered. They will be maped to a job
Ok but when?
Chuckles referred to us as a cult?
Come on folks, in Chucky & Co's eyes, you're all just members of The Cult and worthy only of a pink slip.
This company is not on the path to good. We are on the path to miserable employees and failure.
Will this be all service managers? Or will they keep them for the busier branches?
Yet service manager positions are still being filled in branches….
Its the "Just caught wind of their plan to layoff" for me.... Umm Sloan said this about 4 yrs ago when the company was 270K+ deep. The company was too bloated and needed to layoff at 20-25% to remain competitive.
LOL WF has a former “Chase” exec catapulting the company into oblivion. Chainsaw Charlie doesn’t give a cr-p for anyone, and it doesn’t matter if you’re a tenured employee & highly skilled. He wants people to quit and is doing nothing to look at or retain top talent. Best thing to do is write Wells Fucko off yourself by building careers elsewhere & make sure you tell your banking friends, family and everyone looking to get into banking to avoid working there.
It’s been talked about on here for months…
Yes- a friend that’s a branch manager just called me.
You caught wind of this on a Saturday night huh?
