In an interview with the FT, he predicted quit rates would remain high for another two to three years.
January marked the eighth straight month in which more than 4 million Americans quit their jobs.

The generation stereotypes are a useless fabrication. Who even cares? Like most stereotypes it's a simpleminded attempt to generalize something you shouldn't. The damage these things do in the hands of the nefarious that constantly seek to create conflict between made up groups far outweighs any potential benefit we might gain from the exercise.

It’s not a surprise at all the Big Quit will keep going for a few more years. People who jumped just for more money took jobs they aren’t really interested in - so they quit again. This cycle will keep repeating itself until people realize that there’s no perfect job and you have to find one that balances how much you don’t love about it with how much they pay you.
I also don’t think boomers really have much to do with it. The boomers I work with aren’t looking for the exits, they have 5 years or less to retirement so they’d rather hang in than start over. They are some of the most angry people though - they see how the place is being laid to waste and have spent a decent, sometimes significant, amount of time working here so it really annoys them to see what’s going on.

Look up the largest demographic that has exited the workforce during the great resignation. It's Boomers. I celebrated the coming end of their reign over America, they took offense.

Every generation that follows is handed off the sucesses and the failures and become the gatekeepers of progress. Prior to the boomers, it was the "Greatest Generation that handed the boomers the keys. Boomers inherited all great things the GG created and all the bad things. Boomers made things better and also failed at making things better, Gen Xers and Millenials will do the same thing. That is progess and those wheels grind slow. So, don't be so glib as to toss the Boomers under the bus everytime you read something that ginds you the wrong way.
BTW- Totally agree about those politiicians need to retire. By the time your well past retirement age, you should bet off the bus,
If boomer generation did not have to work to support themselves, they most likely would retire as soon as they could. Sad reality is elder generation does not have financiers to have a dissent modest live even though they’ve worked all their lives. Before you start being a smart a$$es as bout how it is their problem not yours think who worked to make younger generations more successful.
