Thread regarding ExxonMobil Corp. layoffs

New employee survey announced for April, make sure you respond!

They ask, so I will answer. Honestly.

I'm ready to see their heads spin when we all share what we think about the corporate level decisions.

Don't forget that poor showings on these surveys are always indicative of an issue with the employee, not the "leadership". We plebs, we mere mortals do not adequately understand the important work that that Execs and the reasons why we have to jump through a dozen or more bureaucratic hurdles and pointless management reviews to get anything done. That's why the root cause is always identified as "communication" and the resolution is any combination of: more training, more procedures, more reviews, more committees and more meetings.

The results of the last Denison results weren’t suppressed. It was worse in most areas, and we claimed the contractor says it’s normal for the second survey to have lower scores because we’re all supposedly attuned to the culture issues and thinking about them. Keep in mind this was pre 2020 where the gaslighting hadn’t been turned up to 11 yet.

Last Denison survey, which was a follow up, was so bad they suppressed the results and never released them. This should go well. If it doesn't you won't hear about it anyway.

Is this survey connected to the suggestion boxes Initiative that are placed all around campus, which are marked with the sign ♻️ or sometimes just 🗑🚮 ?

When you take your exit survey S&D sees this and will sometimes reach out to you..

In this cult managers are terrified to report bad news to the Directors and VPs so they’ll make sure to filter out anything negative as it makes it’s way up to your VP.

Yeah I don’t trust that there will be anonymity. I recall in May 2020 that DWW said there wouldn’t be any layoffs as well…

Will this be corporate-wide? I haven't seen any survey announcements yet (downstream) but look forward to sharing my thoughts. I hope that there are enough employees left who are willing to share critical feedback... my concern is that as frustrated people continue to leave, the survey results will get more and more positive as the ratio of managers to subordinates increases.

New Executives : Let's do an employee survey to know where we stand and how we can improve the morale in the organization.

HiPo : Yes, sir/madam. Let's do it. This could be the solutions to solve employee attrition problem and definitely can boost employee morale.

Experience employees : Another employee survey ? Didn't we have it few years ago and we didn't see any outcome from the survey that they conducted ?

Consulting firm : Time to make money with EM :)

We have already decided what you think.
Now, let’s do a study to prove it.

They cannot possible want or expect honest feedback.
