I have climbed highest mountains,

LOTUS ended when COVID started, and it was replaced with Project Change. All of this was announced internally. Many players are the same.

I’d take the 2015 leaders sans BP over the jaw flappers we have now. I agree they knew the business and how to get things done. They might have talked about blackberry usage as an analogy but they didn’t talk about OKRs and the North Star. Somebody put Onvio out of its misery. Fire every damn person in product management.

Project Lotus is dead and everyone involved with it has probably left the company one way or another. It was yet another grandiose idea that sputtered out or was quashed by yet another new ELT taking over with new, even better grandiose ideas.

I thought Project Lotus as a whole was no longer happening, but a few components were deemed important/valuable enough to continue.

I will say something controversial. This company needs to go back to the leadership team and style it had around 2015. Fat cats though they were, at least those leaders understood the business. So many of the problems we are facing now stem from the fact that the Canadian “ELT” doesn’t understand our customers, our products, or our markets. Let’s pull a Starbucks and bring the old C-suite back.

Why, you can find all of the information that you need in the LOTUS WAR ROOM in A2!

This is where the magic happens - and no, we're not talking about Disney World here, folks!

Ask the Project Owner. You’d be surprised how open people are. Butter them up first if you want too.
