Thread regarding Fiserv Inc. layoffs

But for real

There is a small number of extremely talented leaders moving to Berkeley this summer from the Ohio office. Real difference makers who will drive some very positive change

You’ll find it’s always a balance of the two. If you’re not worth the pay you’ll be fast RIFd to someone else for far less.
There are plenty in Pune or Noida who will hand it to you.
Enjoy moving to Berkeley Heights and then figuring out what to do for an encore.

I am valued by my contributions and value I bring to the organization, not my cost

Lol!! It doesn’t. When the tax offset runs out and FB sees what he got in return for the cash it will be RIF-o-Rama.

@3vwp+1g6vFue2 Lol…great move Fiserv…pay someone doing the same job over $55k more just to move.

How does that make any sense?

My increase is more than $55k. OH to NJ is a solid move.

Who in their right mind is going to move from Ohio to New Jersey?? Cost of living, High Taxes, NJ politics. You have to be a mental patient to move to co---e run NJ.

https://www.bestplaces.net/cost-of-living/columbus-oh/jersey-city-nj/68680

Article says you need to make 55k more in order to have the same standard of living.

All great accomplishments in their day. As was the steamship, steam locomotive, horse buggy, and the wheel.
Done anything useful since?

But for real… Team OH has had all these years to get anything great done, so what are your real accomplishments other than creating a massively overinflated ego?
If you’re as good as you say it should be easy to start your work in Dublin. Years ago.

It's hilarious how many corporate simps are still around at Fiserv. You are getting paid below market rate to sniff Frank's brown.

You clearly don’t understand the level of talent headed your way. And honestly the increased salary is much appreciated. It more than offsets the cost of living difference. Going to be a buckeye party this summer !!!!

Hey @eqb+1,
Ohio stinks? You ever been to the "garden state." I think they call it that because the flowers get so tall and beautiful from growing on top of about 2700 metric tons nuclear waste. Oh yea, and the bonus of NYC sending all their garbage there. Their executives and regular trash. Where do I sign up? If God was going to give the world an en--a, he'd do it in NJ.

I spent over a decade in Ohio would never consider a move to NJ, they must be desperate I guess. And yes I have been there. Morris Plains, Parsippany the shore.

Man go spread your lies somewhere else. I have yet to see good leadership from the new First-Data (i mean fiserv) company.

If I was a go getter leader in Ohio, I would look for a job outside of Fiserv because I would not want to uproot my life for any company, let alone Fiserv. I would take my talents elsewhere in this employee market, but to each their own. Godspeed.

Leaders don't actually do anything. If you are only sending leaders nothing will be achieved.
