Thread regarding Honeywell International Inc. layoffs

Too painful to stomach

Leadership here will never admit its mistakes. Perhaps things would get better if they were to finally admit to themselves that they are the biggest culprits for the situation at HON. Although, maybe that would be too painful for their stomachs? Or maybe their arrogance doesn’t allow them to see their bad moves and think about them?

They know more about running a multi-billion dollar business into the ground, one COE at a time, while using the company as their personal cash cow. When they're done, they'll toss the company like a used co---m, collect a golden parachute, and do the same thing with another company's shareholder equity. These fools couldn't manage to pour pi$$ out of a boot if the instructions were stamped on the heel.

From another thread...

"...a company that makes little to no investment in their employees has no incentive to keep them if they can find cheaper, lower maintenance resources. That is why we find ourselves on this site."

Execs will never admit their mistakes. As long as their job is secured, does not matter if more layoffs, plant closure and losing experience people, cut rde are needed. As long as they still get their bonuses and stocks

Wait and see which of the above they will use to improve q2, as q1 did not so well

What so many people miss is that leadership's goal is to profit personally, not to grow a sound business. They profit personally when they raise the stock price by cutting costs (aka people, benefits). That triggers their bonuses. Run an LOB into the ground? No problem, sell it off, blame a scapegoat, and celebrate the "profit". All of these guys and gals have golden parachutes, and will walk away with millions no matter how much havoc they wreak.

Yea, judging by how well the business is doing, I'd say that's clearly the case. Are you serious right now?

Or, maybe they know more about running a multi billion dollar international business than you.
Nah, that can't possibly be it.

Doing so would put the fault and the blame back on them and that just won't do at all. Why take the blame themselves when they can just blame the people under them and still get paid big time salaries? The sad fact is that the current "leaders" (notice the quotes) couldn't lead a company if their lives depended on it. They are just completely lost and focused on their own gains at our expense.
