It's become disgusting how some managers here favor those who do everything to make them look good and feel special. It is irrelevant that such individuals do almost nothing. I do not benefit from it in any way, but how can I not feel happy when in the end such favored individuals show their true face and leave in the worst possible way? It's a karmic justice.

Even better when the boss is then identified as redundant. This happened recently in my department. Old time Cisco, Ppt creating, wanna-be lifer took over a group and pushed out one of our best employees. Fast forward 2 months, new Big Boss fired wanna-be lifer. Employee is doing fantastic, would be lifer still hasn’t updated his LinkedIn. Karma.
awesome...way to not give'm the power...
Its worse how some managers like the GES DC boss of bosses, Nate used all those under him as stepping stones, except those who were his yes men.
Ever heard or scratch my back, I scratch yours?
